So let me tell you a story, I swear it to be true, about a person, whom we shall now call A. While this story is indeed about A, we shall have to go further back, to a point in time before A even came into the picture. In this prologue, I introduce you to B and C. B and C met online and talked for a good few months before a fateful event brought them together. B swears upon its existence that C is the love its life, and that it has known this even before the two had met. Their relationship, however, has never been truly official, they've seen other people in the duration, messed around even, but B and C continuously get back together every now and again. Often it involves C calling for B, who comes running, but rarely in the reverse, think convoluted loving booty call perhaps, because that's what it sounds like to me. Enter A. A meets B through a mutual acquaintance (D), and actually hit it off. They become fast best friends, hanging out, going places, enjoying the night life together. They mess around. It means nothing, in the beginning, but A becomes attached, and certain events begin to happen with greater frequency, sometimes initiated by A, more often by B. Until it happens. A actually falls in love with B. A tells B. B says it can't love A back because B loves C, yet continues to mess around with A. A says that there must be something more. B says hormones. A wants to get over B, but doesn't want to at the same time. A tries to just make B happy, and the reverse is true as well, with the exception that B doesn't love A. B admits to liking A, and that it has come to depend on A, but doesn't think it loves A. A thinks it's crazy talk because A can intuit pretty much everything about B, and both have been completely honest with each other from the get go. A is probably on the brink of falling apart. B will probably get its heart broken by C. C will probably remain unscathed.

A - "Why not?"
B - "We just...wouldn't."

B - "If I wasn't in love with C, I'd date you."

Any thoughts? (Sounds like a good soap opera doesn't it?)

A little more about the persons involved:
A - College graduate, life sucks now that its stuck at home, can't seem to jumpstart its life, co-dependent.
B - College dropout, life sucks period, can't seem to jumpstart its life either.
C - Bipolar, education unknown, doesn't live in the same city as A or B.
D - Irrelevant to events, but since it was mentioned...

I'm a horrible dA'er. Seriously. I leave and come back, leave and come back, and now all I do is post this thing because I want people's opinions on the situation. If you're interested in mine, it's this: A and B are stupid, and C is, by far, on top and in control. A for trying so hard. B sounds like a person trying to convince itself of things. As for C, carry on little heartbreaker. Other than this, how are you doing?
